Who is a Kvartaalisähkö contract for?
A Kvartaalisähkö contract is a good choice if you want more predictable electricity costs without committing to a fixed-term contract.
The electricity price is fixed for three months at a time. At the beginning of each new pricing period, the price may either remain the same or be updated to reflect market conditions.
Prices are reviewed four times a year, and we always notify you of any price changes at least one month before the new pricing period begins.
Kvartaalisähkö prices are updated four times a year
The price periods for a Kvartaalisähkö begin on 1 January, 1 April, 1 July, and 1 October.
The price for each new period is announced one month before it takes effect:
- The price for the first period of the year is announced on the last day of November.
- The price for the second period is announced on the last day of February.
- The price for the third period is announced on the last day of May.
- The price for the fourth period is announced on the last day of August.
