Electricity connection price list – Kerava
Valid 1.6.2026 onwards
Low-voltage connection price list (0,4 kV)
| Main fuse A | Zone 1 |
| 3 x 25 | 3230,00 |
| 3 x 35 | 3800,00 |
| 3 x 50 | 4740,00 |
| 3 x 63 | 8420,00 |
| 3 x 80 | 9400,00 |
| 3 x 100 | 10 570,00 |
| >3 x 100 | 76,70 €/A |
The connection fee includes VAT and is non-refundable, in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions of connection.
The Zone 1 connection fee applies within the detailed plan area and outside the detailed plan area within a maximum distance of 600 meters from an existing transformer. Connections located further away outside the detailed plan area are priced on a case-by-case basis or via zonal pricing, in accordance with the applicable connection fee principles.
At Keravan Energia, the average capacity reservation fee for the low-voltage network is 61,60 €/kVA.
When a single-phase connection is upgraded to a three-phase connection, the fee for the upgraded connection is two-thirds of the 3×25 A connection fee for the relevant zone. For three-phase upgrades located outside the zones, the connection fee is two-thirds of the fee for the preceding zone. When the main fuse size is increased, the customer pays the difference between the relevant connection fee categories as an additional connection fee. No refund is issued if the main fuse size is reduced.
Grid connections for generation
Zonal generation prices for low voltage (incl. VAT 25,5%)
| Main fuse A | Zone 1 |
| 3 x 25 | 1940 |
| 3 x 35 | 1980 |
| 3 x 50 | 2190 |
| 3 x 63 | 5110 |
| 3 x 80 | 5250 |
| 3 x 100 | 5310 |
| >3 x 100 | 40,4 €/A |
The connection fee is subject to VAT and is non-refundable, in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions of connection.
For low-voltage connections and generation connections with a capacity of less than 1 MVA located outside the designated zones, the connection fee is determined solely based on the costs of constructing the specific network section and equipment serving that connection.
For hybrid connections that both feed electricity into the grid and draw electricity from it, the price is determined based on the peak power of either the withdrawal or the feed-in; the higher of the two rates sets the zonal price for the connection.
Medium-voltage connection price list (20 kV)
The connection fee is subject to VAT and is non-refundable, in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions of connection.
The connection fee for 20 kV connections is based on the costs incurred by the network operator for the connection, construction, and any other expenses directly resulting from connecting the specific customer to the network, as well as the cost associated with the so-called capacity reservation. Capacity reservation refers to the portion of the existing medium-voltage network’s transmission capacity that is reserved for the customer’s electricity transmission upon their connection to the network.
The connection fee for a medium-voltage connection is determined according to the following formula:
L = a + b*P
where:
| L | connection fee (€) |
| a | includes direct connection costs, the construction costs of any line potentially built for the connecting party, and any other costs directly resulting from the connection. |
| b | is a capacity reservation cost that also covers the reinforcement of the existing high-voltage grid. b = 16,10 €/kVA for a line connection and 11,50 €/kVA for a substation connection. |
| P | is the connection capacity of the medium-voltage connection (kVA). |
The connection fee is not refunded in the event of a reduction in connection power. If the connection’s power requirement increases, the additional connection fee is based on the capacity reservation fee and the change in connection power—specifically, (Pnew – Pold ) × capacity reservation fee. Value-added tax of 25,5 % is added to the connection fee.
For connection points where power flows in both directions, the capacity reservation fee is always determined by whichever option results in a higher cost: the combination of consumption transmission power and the consumption capacity reservation fee, or the combination of grid-injection transmission power and the production capacity reservation fee.
High-voltage connection price list (110 kV)
The connection fee is subject to VAT and is non-refundable, in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions of connection.
The connection fee for 110 kV connections is based on the costs incurred by the network operator for the connection—including construction and other costs directly resulting from the specific connection—as well as the cost associated with the so-called capacity reservation. Capacity reservation refers to the portion of the existing high-voltage network’s transmission capacity that is reserved for the connecting party’s electricity transmission upon connection to the network.
The connection fee for a high-voltage connection is determined according to the following formula:
L = a + b*P
where:
| L | connection fee (€) |
| a | includes direct connection costs, the construction costs of any line potentially built for the connecting party, and any other costs directly resulting from the connection. |
| b | is a capacity reservation cost that also covers the reinforcement of the existing high-voltage grid. b = 3,40 €/kVA (VAT 0%). |
| P | is the connection capacity of the high-voltage connection (kVA). |
The connection fee is not refunded in the event of a reduction in connection power. If the connection’s power requirement increases, the additional connection fee is based on the capacity reservation fee and the change in connection power—specifically, (Pnew – Pold ) × capacity reservation fee. Value-added tax (VAT) at a rate of 25,5 % is added to the connection fee.
For connections where power is transferred in both directions at the connection point, the capacity reservation fee is determined by whichever option results in a higher cost: the combination of consumption transfer power and the consumption capacity reservation fee, or the combination of grid-feed transfer power and the production capacity reservation fee.
Grid connection of generation capacity exceeding 1 MVA
The connection fee is subject to VAT and non-refundable, in accordance with the applicable terms of connection.
The connection fee for generation connections exceeding 1 MVA is based on the costs incurred by the network operator for the connection—including construction and other costs directly resulting from connecting the specific user—as well as the cost associated with the so-called capacity reservation.
The connection fee for generation connections exceeding 1 MVA is determined according to the following formula:
L = a + b*P
where:
| L | connection fee (€) |
| a | includes direct connection costs, the construction costs of any line potentially built for the connecting party, and any other costs directly resulting from the connection. |
| b | is a capacity reservation cost that also covers the reinforcement of the existing high-voltage grid. b = 1,8 €/kVA for the high-voltage grid, accounting for benefits, and 3,4 €/kVA without benefits* (0 % VAT); or b = 4,6 €/kVA for the medium-voltage grid, accounting for benefits, and 16,1 €/kVA without benefits* (0% VAT). |
| P | is the connection capacity of the generation connection (kVA). |
*Generation is considered beneficial to the grid if the electric power drawn from the grid at the point of interconnection exceeds the power fed into the grid by the generation.
Grid connection of generation capacity under 1 MVA
The connection fee for generation capacity of less than 1 MVA is based on the direct costs arising from the connection, and no capacity reservation fee is charged. An exception to this is hybrid connections, for which a capacity reservation fee is charged regarding the consumption component. For electricity storage facilities, the connection fee includes a capacity reservation fee (for generation or consumption) if the facility is not part of a power plant complex.
